One of Cornwall’s most historic houses dating back to the 15th century, THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay has far-reaching sea views, oodles of quirks and character and stacks of original features. Just a short stroll from Harlyn beach, Constantine Bay beaches and Trevose Golf Club, the new PIG is also only a 10-minute drive to the sea-side honeypot of Padstow and a stone’s skim over the water from the buzzy towns of Rock and Polzeath.
With an obsessive commitment to home grown produce and a serious love of all-things local, the garden and kitchen teams at THE PIG work hand in hand to create the restaurant’s 25-mile menu, which is supported by passionate local farmers and small producers, who supply anything that our team cannot grow or produce themselves. It is all about our kitchen gardens, they are the beating heart of the operation…everything is driven by the gardener/forager and chef – they grow and find the food – the chef then creates the menu; uncomplicated and simple British garden food, true to the micro seasons with the emphasis squarely on fresh, clean flavours.
