We are delighted to announce that visitors can enjoy an all-star lineup of Chef Demonstrations for £5 a day, with general admission tickets now free for all four days of the Festival!
With a stellar line-up of celebrity chef cookery demonstrations, live music, community events, a firework display and a huge local food/drink Christmas market, you may be surprised to hear that tickets to the revered Padstow Christmas Festival are free for the entirety of the 4-day Festival, and only £5 per day for the world-renowned Sharp’s Chefs Theatre.
We will be assembling the very best Chefs in the UK and the world in Cornwall for what will be a remarkable celebration of food, Christmas and Padstow. With highly-acclaimed culinary royalty Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth and Valentine Warner showcasing their skills in the Sharp’s Chefs Theatre, alongside the leading culinary minds from Cornwall and beyond, we are very proud to be able to offer tickets at only £5 per day for the demos, with general admissions tickets completely free throughout the Festival.
As a not-for-profit event, the Padstow Christmas Festival is run by volunteers and continues to be financed by sponsorship, plus revenue raised from events held during the Festival.
Founder and Festival Organiser, Tina Evans comments, “We are delighted to only be charging a small daily fee for our Chef demonstrations in the Sharp’s Chefs theatre, and feel strongly that our Festival should be accessible and enjoyed by everyone. This is a world-class event and a rare opportunity to see the finest and most well-loved Chefs in the country cooking on-stage and doing what they do best.”
This year, 50 extra seats have been added to the Sharp’s Chefs Theatre, so even more people can enjoy the demonstrations. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to experience what is guaranteed to be an unforgettable 4 days of culinary delights, heartwarming community activities, great live music, Christmas carols, over 100 local food, drink, arts and crafts traders and, of course, the incredible demos from star Chefs and up-and-coming talent from the world of gastronomy.
Our Festival lead sponsor, Sharp’s Brewery, will also be hosting its Silent Bistro where up to 60 guests will receive a unique sensory experience, listening to specially chosen sounds through headphones as they sample beer and food. Tickets for the Sharp’s Doom Bar Silent Bistro will go on sale at a later date.
Our Chef line-up includes: Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth, Michael Caines, Valentine Warner, Jack Stein, Emily Scott, Matt Tebbutt, Jude Kereama, Rick Toogood, Alex Hollywood and many more, all of whom volunteer their time and efforts to this highly prestigious and treasured event.
Entry to the festival will be free this year. Entry to the Sharp’s Chefs Theatre events will be ticketed at £5 per day plus admin fee, or a weekend ticket for all four days can be purchased for £15 plus admin fee.
