Padstow Christmas Festival is a not-for-profit event, and is run by volunteers who simply love the festival and the community surrounding it.

Each year, money is raised for the local area and charities, and our lovely volunteers work tirelessly to ensure the festival is a success and can be enjoyed by all.

This year, our costs have risen dramatically on all fronts. Unfortunately, this means it would be impossible to run the event without charging for entry.

We are only ticketing the elements which require a significant financial investment. There will be lots happening in the town for free throughout the weekend, including the firework display on Friday, the lantern parade, and a full programme of live music on the bandstand.

We appreciate everyone who supports the festival each year, and really hope to celebrate the festive season with you all.

What does the ticket cover?

Tickets will grant access to:

  • The extensive festival Christmas market, featuring the county’s best food, drink, artisans and creatives.
  • The Sharp’s Chefs’ Theatre, with a packed schedule of cookery demonstrations from the best chefs in the country.
  • The Festival Stage, featuring demonstrations from local and emerging cookery talent.

As with previous years, places in the Sharp’s Chefs’ Theatre are limited. Places will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis prior to each demo. Additionally, the demos will be live-streamed on a large screen in the Christmas market.

We have made the decision to create one ticket which gains access to both the Christmas market marquee and chef demo tents. This is to keep our requirements for staff and assets to a minimum, meaning the ticket price can remain as low as possible.
